About the Author:

G. C. Waldrep’s poetry has been published in a wide range of journals, including Poetry, the Gettysburg Review, and Seneca Review. He is also the author of a nonfiction book, Southern Workers and the Search for Community. He received a BA from Harvard and a PhD in American History from Duke University. Since then he has had residencies at Yaddo, MacDowell Colony, the Ucross Foundation, Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, and Vermont Studio Center. Goldbeater’s Skin is his first poetry collection.
