Selections from Colorado Review is not good at April Fool’s pranks. We’re so bad at it, in fact, that we can’t even get the date right. Truth be told, we’re not even that funny. We were going to totally prank you by releasing the March podcast on April 1, April Fool’s Day. Hilarious, right? But then we screwed it up by sleeping through our alarm. We just can’t be counted on for anything. Not even jokes. But you know what you can count on? Susanna Childress’s wonderful reading style. Listen to her read her poem “The Hyssop Tub” from the Summer 2011 issue of Colorado Review. It’s better than our corny, poorly executed jokes. I promise.
