Harrison Candelaria Fletcher in the author of the award-winning Descanso for My Father: Fragments of a Life and Presentimiento: A Life in Dreams. His personal essays, lyric essays, and prose poems have appeared widely in such literary journals and anthologies as New Letters, TriQuarterly, Fourth Genre, Passages North, Brevity, and Brief Encounters: A Collection of Contemporary Nonfiction. A native New Mexican, he teaches nonfiction in the MFA in Writing Creative Programs at Vermont College of Fine Arts and Colorado State University.
